This Week’s Crop: Eco-Friendly Business and Marketing News

As Cyndi Lauper sang, “Girls Just Want To Have Fun.”  It’s Friday and it’s been a crazy week, right?  In today’s blog I’m going to share some business and marketing news that combine eco-friendly innovations with a little humor.

  • It’s the real thing! This article by Amy Corr for Media Creativity is about the green billboard that Coca-Cola created from tea plants.  No kidding. We need a couple of these babies right here in Atlanta!  After all, we are the home of Coke.  Are you guys listening??  http://bit.ly/osfRVZ
  • When the poop hits the fan. Neal Ungerleider writes a post for Fast Company about futuristic toilets that will transform human waste into electricity and fuel.   This real-life project is being funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.   Read more: http://bit.ly/qJKEWu
