Spring Event Features Pet Parade, Artist Market, Classic Car Show & Musical Performances!
Bring your family, friends, and Fido for a fabulous weekend of fun when the 3rd Annual Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival returns to beautiful Blackburn Park. The festival will take place on Saturday, March 25 & Sunday, March 26 from 10 am to 6 pm each day. Admission is FREE.
“This festival has been a wonderful way to bring our community together and show visitors what’s so special about Brookhaven,” said Festival Chair and Founder Rebecca Chase Williams. “I’m happy to announce that last year’s event attracted more than 15,000 attendees. It’s a great place for families to bring their children to play, residents to host out-of-town guests, couples to meet for a drink and BBQ, and pet lovers to bring their dogs and stroll with us in the Pet Parade.”
Here are some of the special features you’ll find at this year’s festival:
In 2014 the City of Brookhaven planted 240 Yoshino and Kwanzan Cherry Trees in Blackburn Park. The official tree of Brookhaven, the Cherry Tree is a symbol of peace and goodwill. Blackburn Park is a beautiful 49-acre multi-use green space conveniently located off the Ashford-Dunwoody Exit on I-285 at 3493 Ashford Dunwoody Road, Brookhaven, GA 30319.
